A Kind Heart makes Beautiful Music.

Rachel Lambdin began playing the violin as a Suzuki student at the age of 4 and went on to earn a BFA in Violin Performance from Boston University. Grateful for her Suzuki foundation, she has spent her musical career focusing on pedagogy with the intention of bringing the joys of music to students of all ages and backgrounds. Rachel has completed Suzuki teacher training through book 3 and continues her Suzuki method studies. She has training in Waldorf and traditional pedagogies and is always searching for new ideas and approaches that will inspire her students. Rachel is the author of the ‘Tone Forest Strings Book’ ~ a beautiful collection of pieces for beginner strings, illustrated by Melanie Linder. Rachel believes that music is our shared human treasure, a common language connecting cultures across the globe, and that all people are deserving and capable of learning an instrument. It is her honor and privilege to help guide the way.

Kind Heart. Beautiful Music.
